Unbound Medicine Releases CogniQ™ for Pocket PC®
Charlottesville, VA, October 23, 2002 — Unbound Medicine, Inc. today announced the release of the Pocket PC version of CogniQ™, the leading platform for personal knowledge management on mobile electronic devices.
The Pocket PC version of CogniQ—similar to the Palm OS version—has many industry-leading features, including:
- Infrastructure for standalone, updating, and fully integrated handheld/Web products
- Application delivery via CD-ROM or electronic download
- Highly secure and configurable Digital Rights Management (DRM)
- Incremental content and message updating on synchronization
- Request routing from the handheld to Internet sites, databases, and email systems
- Sophisticated data compression, minimizing product size
- Support for:
- External memory cards
- Inter- and intra-source linking
- In-line and link-out images
- Wireless synching (coming soon!)
